Lisa Nash parliamentary candidate for Stevenage

We are pleased to announce that, following a competitive selection, Lisa Nash has been selected by local members as the Liberal Democrat's prospective parliamentary candidate for the Stevenage constituency at the next general election.

Lisa, who is a North Hertfordshire district councillor representing Knebworth ward, stood in the 2019 general election, more than doubling the Party’s vote share in the Stevenage constituency, which includes many surrounding rural villages and communities.

Speaking following her adoption, Lisa said: “I am relishing the opportunity to stand again. I feel I can bring a range of experience as a voice and a member of parliament for Stevenage, adding: “I am an experienced advocate with a proven track record and not afraid to stand up and be counted for our communities, whether it is around our environment, the NHS, planning, education, housing or travel and transport.

Many congratulations to Lisa - we are looking forward to working with her in Stevenage.

Elsewhere in North Herts & Stevenage, the selection of a PPC for the new Hitchin constituency are underway while selection of a PPC for the North East Hertfordshire constituency will take place shortly.
