Sam Collins is Councillor for Hitchin Highbury Ward on North Hertfordshire District Council.

Sam is a professional writer and technology consultant who lives and works in North Hertfordshire. He is best known for his focus on Formula 1 motor racing and the World Endurance Championship, and is passionate about science, technology and engineering. He joined the Liberal Democrats following the EU Referendum in June 2016, along with tens of thousands of others wanting to fight for the values the party represents. He is also a member of the Association of Liberal Democrat Engineers & Scientists (ALDES). Since getting involved in the local party, Sam has been a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm, advocating effectively for positive change, both in Hitchin and beyond.

Keith Hoskins MBE is Councillor for Hitchin Highbury Ward on North Hertfordshire District Council and he is Executive Member for Enterprise and Arts.

Keith is well-known around North Hertfordshire, having worked for Hitchin Initiative as Town Centre Manager since 1997, and subsequently setting up Hitchin BID (Business Improvement District) in 2008. Living in Hitchin town centre for the last 22 years, Keith has been involved with many community groups, notably in the organisation of the annual Hitchin Festival. In his work he has liaised with councils and other official bodies for the improvement of the town's facilities and environment. As a district councillor he is continuing to use his experience to work for the benefit of Hitchin and ensure that Hitchin issues are at the forefront of Council decision making.

Keith serves on the Council Employment Committee, the Hitchin Committee, and the Joint Staff Consultative Committee.

Raj Bhakar is Councillor for Hitchin Highbury Ward on North Hertfordshire District Council.

Raj is a Human Resources professional who works for a specialist NHS Trust. She has also worked for the Police and is dedicated to serving the community. Raj has campaigned for better management of roads and pavements as well as the prevention of unnecessary development and is keen to protect green spaces, as well as promote and implement sustainability initiatives in Hitchin.
