Liberal Democrats call for North Herts District Council to challenge the Labour government's proposals on 'grey belt' planning policy to give greater protection for green field sites and deliver affordable and socially rented homes in new developments.
Last night, Royston Town Council approved plans to relaunch the Town Hall as The Royston Venue – a multi-arts venue including screening films. This is a major step forward for our town and a promise delivered by your Royston Liberal Democrat councillors.
It is unfortunate that this step was required, but the Council Leader’s refusal to recognise the clear majority view of the Council was unacceptable.
