Peter has a background in social housing and he is a building surveyor. He has lived in the area for over 30 years and is a keen supporter of Stevenage football club. He’s been an active member of the Lib Dem team for some years. In 2025 Peter was elected as councillor for Manor Ward in a by-election that followed the death of Graham Snell, the previous Manor Ward councillor.
